# 3b - Honors English 1

Hi, all. My apologies for not being able to be with you today. What we're doing is actually really straightforward:

* **Read Chapters 6 and 7 in *****Lord of the Flies***

Expect a reading check quiz on both chapters next class, as well as our last group presentation from Wednesday's class.

Additionally, our **mini-essay and grammar quiz will be coming up shortly.** There's nothing you need to do to prep for the mini-essay, but if you have questions about writing or want to look through any of your parahalves with me, you still have a little time to make arrangement in which to do so.

For the grammar quiz, if you would like additional practice, I will post some **optional practice sentences** below. Label them using the symbols we've learned, and then if you want, we can meet and go over them.
